About the Role
The Residential Driver is the frontline of our waste removal services, dedicated to safely and efficiently serving our community. In this role, you will be responsible for collecting solid waste and recyclables from residential curbside and backdoor locations, transporting them to post-collection facilities, and ensuring a professional experience for every customer you encounter.
This position is vital to maintaining route quality standards and operational efficiency. You will operate side-load and rear-load trucks, managing the hydraulic systems and compaction equipment while adhering to strict safety protocols. The role requires a high degree of physical stamina and situational awareness, as you will navigate tight spaces, manage heavy loads, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions throughout the day.

- check_circleConduct pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections and complete daily route documentation
- check_circleIdentify and remove prohibited waste items from customer carts or cans
- check_circleManage assigned helpers and coordinate with supervisors to improve routing efficiencies
- check_circleMaintain vehicle cleanliness by cleaning the cab interior and exterior daily
- check_circleReport all accidents, incidents, and vehicle mechanical problems immediately to supervisors
