Driver Recruiter

About the Role

As a Driver Recruiter, you will serve as the vital link between KAG and the drivers who keep our logistics network moving. Based in our North Canton, Ohio office, this on-site role is designed for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment where clear customer service outcomes drive success. You will partner closely with terminal managers to ensure an expedited and smooth process for filling open positions, managing the full-cycle recruitment journey from lead generation to hire for a designated region.

Your day will involve establishing strong relationships with new and existing drivers and Owner-Operators. You will execute targeted recruitment activities, including call, email, and text blitzes, while rigorously monitoring safety-sensitive candidate applications. Beyond screening and scheduling interviews, you will collaborate with hiring managers and the compliance team to ensure seamless onboarding. You will also plan and lead driver recruiting hiring events throughout your region, staying abreast of current and future business needs to support our field management.

Hiring Process

Candidates selected for this role will be expected to travel up to 15% of the time to various KAG locations to support regional hiring events and business needs. The position requires a high level of comfort with heavy call volumes and the ability to multitask effectively in a dynamic setting.
