About the Role
This position supports the Older Adult Centers, which promote an active life for seniors by helping them preserve their independence and health. As a Driver, you will be a vital link in this mission, transporting older adult clients on regularly scheduled routes to various destinations such as senior centers, supermarkets, shopping malls, and medical appointments.
Your day will involve more than just driving; you will escort and assist infirm or fragile clients from their homes to the vehicle and back, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the journey. In addition to transportation, the role includes performing essential clerical functions, including data entry, filing, answering phones, and distributing mail. You will work closely with the Director and assigned staff to determine specific client needs and destinations.
