Our Older Adult Centers promote an active life for seniors, aiming to assist them in preserving their independence and health. This Driver role is essential to our mission, ensuring clients can access the community resources they need. You will transport older adult clients on regularly scheduled routes to destinations such as senior centers, supermarkets, shopping malls, and medical appointments.
Beyond driving, you will serve as a vital link between our clients and their destinations. This includes escorting and assisting fragile or infirm clients from their homes to the vehicle and back, ensuring their safety through the use of seat belts, wheelchair brackets, and other safety devices. The role also involves performing necessary clerical functions, such as data entry, filing, answering phones, and distributing mail.
