About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated driver to operate vehicles and transport passengers to and from school. This position is vital for ensuring the safe and timely arrival of students, requiring a professional who can navigate prearranged routes or utilize maps and GPS to reach destinations efficiently.
Day in the Life
As a driver, you will be responsible for maintaining the vehicle's upkeep and cleanliness, ensuring both the exterior and interior are presentable and free of debris. You will open vehicle doors to assist passengers and adhere strictly to all state and national driving laws, rules, and regulations. The role demands the ability to follow schedules and reroute in a timely manner when faced with traffic or congestion, all while maintaining a positive attitude and professional demeanor focused on customer service.
Hiring Process & Requirements
Candidates must be 21 years of age or older and possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record. The selection process includes a free 7-day training program, an annual physical, and a criminal background check. While previous professional driving experience is preferred, training may be provided for the right candidate.
