About the Role
Clean Harbors in Sparks, NV is seeking a Class A CDL Driver to operate a variety of heavy and light-duty trucks and work equipment at customer sites. This role involves driving vacuum trucks, Cuscos, guzzlers, and roll-offs as part of hazardous waste clean-up operations. The position requires performing both driving and non-driving duties on and off customer sites, including loading and unloading trucks, manual labor to fulfill customer needs, and site remediation.
Safety is the cornerstone of this role; Health and Safety is the #1 priority, and employees are expected to comply with all safe work practices, policies, and processes. The team operates in a collaborative atmosphere where everyone helps, ensuring that vehicles are properly placarded and that all local, state, and federal compliance regulations are followed. Drivers must be prepared to be on call for emergency response on a rotating basis every other week and may be required to handle hazardous materials and perform equipment decontamination.
