About the Role

We are seeking a creative and precise part-time Dog Groomer to join our Pet Spa team. This commission-based position reports directly to the General Manager and embodies our mission of "Pet Lovers Delighting Pet Lovers." We operate with a culture that is Playful, Passionate, Personal, and Professional.

You will be the face of our service, ensuring every pet receives a professional-quality groom that meets or exceeds client expectations while prioritizing the animal's physical and emotional health. Success in this role requires a team player who is self-motivated, takes direction well, and possesses excellent communication skills. You will not only be skilled at customer service but passionate about helping pet parents. Your primary focus will be grooming and bathing all breeds of dogs and cats with compassion, gentleness, and safety.

A Day in the Life

You are the one who makes pets feel like a million bucks! Your day will be a dynamic mix of working with animals that have reservations, walk-in appointments, and guests staying in our boarding facilities. You will perform full grooms, simple baths, touch-ups, and the occasional "emergency bath" for excited guests.

Beyond the grooming table, you will interact frequently with pet parents, documenting what you see. Often, you will be the first to notice a health concern and help parents address it. Your day will also involve scooping, cleaning up messes, and getting lots of sloppy kisses. You will maintain a sanitary environment, ensuring all tools are clean and workspaces are disinfected daily. You will monitor guest health, manage hydration and bathroom breaks, and adhere to strict safety protocols for handling pets of all sizes and temperaments.
