About the Role
We are seeking an experienced groomer who is an animal lover with a knack for making pets look and feel their best. This role is designed for someone who thrives on building relationships with grooming clients and their pets. You will serve as a trusted advisor, performing consultations to recommend the best services based on a dog's condition and coat type. Your day will involve managing your own schedule, communicating clearly with pet parents before, during, and after appointments, and maintaining detailed records of services and vaccine requirements.
Beyond the technical aspects of grooming, you will be the first line of defense for pet health, identifying and communicating potential concerns regarding skin, ear, and oral hygiene to owners. You will also manage supply inventory and ensure a calm, caring environment that eases pet anxieties, paying special attention to the unique needs of puppies, elderly, or disabled dogs.
