The Division of Vascular Surgery at Creighton University Medical Center CHI Health is part of the Heart & Vascular Institute, one of the nation's highest quality, award-winning heart programs. We are seeking a visionary leader to serve as the Division Chief of Vascular Surgery. This role is designed to lead an established, high-volume group encompassing a wide breadth of vascular surgical cases. The successful candidate will be instrumental in expanding our clinical, surgical, research, and educational activities in conjunction with the Department of Surgery and Cardiovascular Medicine.
You will partner with outstanding colleagues and forward-thinking academic and business leadership to grow the adult Vascular Surgery Division across all domains. The position involves reporting directly to the Chair of Surgery and includes significant responsibilities in educating Creighton University's surgical residents and medical students while conducting research in collaboration with scientists within Common Spirit and Creighton University School of Medicine. Candidates are expected to have a track record of scholarly and educational activities at the level of Assistant to Associate Professor.
Our facility features four OR suites, including two hybrid suites, and utilizes an Electronic Medical Record system via EPIC. We operate under a Universal Care model with an entire hospital floor dedicated to cardiovascular care, ensuring all cases are staffed by Board Certified/Board Eligible Cardiac Anesthesia professionals.
