CHI Health and Creighton University Medical Center are partnering to shape a new future for Academic Health. As a trendsetting model for the academic health system, we embed clinical care within education, research, and innovation. Our Department of Surgery is one of the nation's highest quality, award-winning programs, part of an integrated, multispecialty system committed to the highest outcomes for every procedure.
The Division of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery is a full participant in Surgery Centers at both the Academic Medical Center and Community-Based Hospitals. We are augmented by unique resources, including the Institute of Population Health and the nation's only resident healthcare leadership program. Our program operates within a large, established referral base, collaborating with Primary Care and the growing Breast Cancer Surgery Center of Excellence.
We seek a visionary leader to serve as the Chief of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery. This role is designed to expand clinical, research, and educational activities within the Department of Surgery. The incumbent will lead the CHI-wide delivery, quality, safety, and research initiatives for the division.
You will guide the growth of a wide breadth of reconstructive and cosmetic surgical cases, including Level I Trauma, Breast Reconstruction, Body Contouring, Oncologic Reconstruction, Head & Neck programs, and General Face & Body Cosmetic surgery. In this academic and teaching environment, you will educate Creighton University's surgical residents and medical students while conducting research in collaboration with scientists within Common Spirit and Creighton University School of Medicine. Reporting directly to the Chair of Surgery, you will partner with outstanding colleagues and forward-thinking academic and business leadership to drive the program's evolution.
