The Division of Colorectal Surgery is an active participant in the Colon and Rectum fellowship and is further augmented by unique academic resources, including the Institute of Population Health and the nation's only resident healthcare leadership program. Our flagship academic medical center features 12 OR suites and three robotic surgical systems, supporting a high-volume group that handles a wide breadth of colorectal cases in rectal cancer, inflammatory bowel disease, pelvic health, and quality improvement.
We seek a visionary leader to serve as the Chief of Colorectal Surgery. This role is designed to expand clinical, research, and educational activities within the Department of Surgery. The incumbent will lead CHI-wide colorectal quality, safety, and research initiatives while fostering growth across all domains of the specialty.
You will join an established, dynamic environment to partner with outstanding colleagues and forward-thinking academic and business leadership. The position involves educating Creighton University's surgical residents and medical students in a highly engaging academic and teaching environment at our Level I Trauma Center. You will also conduct research in collaboration with scientists within Common Spirit and Creighton University School of Medicine. Reporting directly to the Chair of Surgery, you will help drive the program's commitment to the highest outcomes for every procedure performed.
