The Department of Gastroenterology at Ochsner Health Baton Rouge is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Gastroenterologist to join our practice within the Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) subsection. Whether you work directly with patients every day or support those who do, you are making a difference.
You will join an established, regional, multidisciplinary IBD program supported by a dedicated clinical team, including an IBD-focused nurse navigator, pharmacist, and Nurse Practitioner collaborator. The role offers strong collaborative support from colorectal surgery, GI pathology, and GI radiology. You will become part of a highly collegial, seven-physician GI group comprised of general GIs, hepatologists, subspecialists, and advanced endoscopists. The practice model is integrated with a strong internal referral network and utilizes the EPIC medical record platform throughout the health system.
