About the Role
The District Sales Manager is a seasonal leadership position dedicated to overseeing the end-to-end operation of an average of three Spirit Halloween stores. Spanning from July through November, this role is critical to the brand's seasonal success, requiring a hands-on leader to manage sales, payroll, recruiting, training, and employee relations.
The day-to-day reality of this position extends beyond traditional management. You will be directly involved in the physical lifecycle of the stores, including construction, opening, daily operations, and the final tear-down. This is a dynamic environment where you will balance administrative duties with active floor management, ensuring expense control and shrink reduction while maintaining high operational standards.
Application Instructions
Applicants must be at least 21 years old and possess a flexible schedule. Candidates should have 2 to 5 years of experience in a multi-store supervisory position. The role requires the physical ability to stand and walk for in excess of 8 hours, climb ladders, set up fixtures, and lift or move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
Compensation and Benefits
This position offers a weekly rate ranging from $1,125 to $1,150, dependent on qualifications and experience. Eligible employees participate in the New Jersey Paid Sick Pay program, the Repeat DSM Bonus Program, and the DSM Seasonal Incentive Program. Note that bonus and pay programs are subject to specific qualifications.
