The Linen Distribution Manager serves as the primary representative of Crown within a healthcare facility, leading the strategic utilization of linen to meet critical customer needs. This "working manager" position is designed to bridge the gap between operational execution and customer satisfaction, ensuring that the facility's linen supply chain remains efficient, cost-effective, and high-quality.
In this role, you will not only supervise Linen Distribution Technicians but also actively engage in the physical distribution and collection of linen. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels through both software tracking and physical audits, while acting as the first point of contact for resolving service issues and proposing new business opportunities to expand Crown's presence in the facility.
Your day will be a dynamic mix of leadership and hands-on work. You will coordinate with plant, fleet, and service personnel to ensure clean products are delivered efficiently, while simultaneously managing the flow of soiled textiles. As a working manager, you can expect to walk 3-5 miles throughout the facility, handling linen transportation devices that may weigh over 500 pounds.
You will serve as the face of Crown during customer interactions, receiving feedback on personnel and service levels, and following up with resolutions to documented concerns. Success in this role requires a positive, energetic outlook and the ability to manage a diverse team while maintaining exceptional records of customer contacts and resolutions.
Candidates must possess a valid Driver's License and have at least three years of outside management experience. The role requires a professional presence and the ability to work directly with upper management, ownership, and all levels of the healthcare organization.
