About the Role

As a Dispensing Pharmacist at CVS Health, you will serve as a vital link in the healthcare continuum, providing safe, accurate, and timely medication dispensing while delivering compassionate, patient-centered care. Day in the Life

Your day will be a dynamic blend of clinical expertise and community engagement. You will manage pharmacy inventory, including controlled substances, to minimize waste while ensuring critical medications are available. A significant portion of your time will be dedicated to direct patient interaction, offering education on side effects and adherence, and administering immunizations. You will collaborate closely with prescribers and care teams to refine medication therapy and document clinical interventions. Additionally, you will lead and train pharmacy technicians, fostering a positive, customer-focused environment where safety and compassion are paramount.
