About the Team
The Neighborhood at Vestavia Hills is seeking a dedicated Dishwasher to join our Food and Beverage team. This role is vital to maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and efficiency required in our dining services, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for our guests.
About the Role
Reporting directly to the Food and Beverage Director, the Dishwasher is the backbone of our kitchen operations. This position is responsible for performing essential cleaning and storage activities, including dish washing, pot washing, and general equipment maintenance. You will ensure that all dining areas, such as the Dining Room and Bistro, are kept in pristine condition.
Your day will involve operating dish machines and sinks according to strict Food Safety Standards to properly wash and sanitize all dishes, china, silverware, glassware, and cookware. You will also handle the cleaning of large production equipment, including stoves, ovens, fryers, mixers, and ventilation systems, while managing the storage and rotation of food and supplies.
Requirements
To be considered for this part-time role, candidates must possess a High School Diploma or GED and have at least one year of job-related experience. You must be committed to handling all food and cleaning activities in accordance with sanitary procedures and all federal, state, and local regulatory standards.
Schedule
This is a part-time position with a schedule running Monday through Friday. Please note that every other weekend is required.
