As a Disability Claims Specialist, you will review, investigate, and analyze disability claim information for the NRECA membership in accordance with established policy provisions and service standards. You will treat each disability claim as an individual case, researching the claimant's education, training, experience, and functional limitations to identify potential opportunities for return to work.
You will apply judgment within defined parameters to support the development and execution of a claim management approach, escalating complex or disputed cases as needed. This role requires maintaining high standards of customer service while meeting productivity and timeliness expectations, ensuring that every member receives the support they need during challenging times.
