Athens Administrators is seeking a Senior Claims Examiner to support our Property & Casualty department. Athens Program Insurance Services serves as the centerpiece of our P&C claims administration, focusing exclusively on commercial business specialization across multiple coverage lines. This role is designed for a professional who thrives in a unique environment dedicated to high-exposure commercial auto and trucking claims.

The role often entails managing litigation and navigating intricate coverage issues. You will serve as a bridge between claimants, clients, brokers, and attorneys, facilitating the resolution of liability claims while protecting the interests of our customers. Beyond individual case management, you will play a key mentorship role by assisting in the training of new employees, providing daily guidance to other examiners, and overseeing less experienced staff.
This is a hybrid role based in one of our offices in Concord, CA, Orange, CA, San Antonio, TX, or Lake Mary, FL. Employees residing within 26 miles of these locations are required to work in the office once a week; the remaining days may be worked remotely provided technical requirements are met and the employee resides in a state where Athens operates. The standard schedule is Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours per week, with offices open from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. local time.
