About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Disabilities Plan Coordinator to join our Special Needs Adult Training Facility in Kittanning, PA. This full-time role is designed for individuals with a strong desire to help others and serve the community. You will be the backbone of our Day Program, providing essential instruction, daily care, and support to adults with developmental and/or intellectual disabilities.

In this position, you will do more than just supervise; you will be a Program Specialist who creates client goal plans, observes performance in various situations, and documents progress. Your day will involve teaching life skills, assisting with activities, and ensuring a safe, clean environment for our clients. You will play a vital part in implementing individualized program plans that empower our clients to reach their goals.

Work Schedule

This is a full-time position with a consistent schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 3:30 pm. We value work-life balance, so there are no evening shifts, weekends, or holiday work required.

Requirements

verifiedAssociate's degree or 60 credits plus 4 years experience with disabilities

verifiedPass background check and obtain clearances
verifiedAt least 18 years of age
verifiedKnowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (preferred)

Nice to Have

Bachelor's degree in Special Education, Human Services, Social Services, Social Work, Rehabilitation Counseling, Art or Dance Therapy Psychology, or any similar degree with 2 years of working directly with persons with disabilities. Association of Community Rehabilitation Educators Certificate (ACRE). Certified Employment Support Professional (CESP). Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
