About the Role
The Clinical Director is a pivotal leader within our rapidly growing team, directly supervising and training primary care providers (PCPs) in an assigned center. This role is designed to maximize core model execution, driving improvements in clinical quality, efficiency, outcomes, and clinician and patient satisfaction.
The Clinical Director balances leadership responsibilities with direct patient care. A portion of their time is allocated to providing care for patients with acute and chronic illnesses, particularly among older adults, ensuring accountability for patient outcomes and coordinating care across hospital, skilled nursing, and homebound settings. The remainder of their time is dedicated to leadership duties, including mentoring PCPs, leading care teams, fostering a strong clinical-operations synergy, and partnering with center operations to drive financial performance and membership growth.

ChenMed is looking for candidates who meet the following requirements: MD or DO in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatrics, or similar specialty; Current, active MD licensure in State of employment; Minimum of 1-year clinical experience in geriatric, adult or family practice setting preferred; Board certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatrics or similar specialty preferred; Board Eligibility required; Current DEA number for schedule II-V controlled substances; and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required within 90 days.
