Reporting directly to the Vice President of Student Services, this position serves as the operational and clinical leader for the campus Mental Health and Wellness Programs. The role is designed to ensure the daily delivery of high-quality support services, bridging the gap between student needs and available resources.
In this capacity, you will oversee program operations, manage budgets, and coordinate education and outreach initiatives. A core component of the position involves providing direct personal and crisis counseling to students, requiring a deep commitment to their well-being. You will also act as a vital liaison, collaborating with mental health partners and community agencies to facilitate seamless referrals and expanded care networks.
We serve a diverse community of students and staff, representing a wide range of academic, socio-economic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds. Success in this role requires a demonstrated sensitivity to and understanding of this diversity, ensuring that all mental health services are accessible, inclusive, and culturally responsive.
Candidates must hold a Master's degree in a closely related field (such as counseling, clinical psychology, social work, or marriage and family therapy) and possess a current California license in a mental health field (e.g., Psychologist, LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, or LEP). Please note that the institution does not cover supervision, licensure renewal fees, or personal malpractice insurance.
