About the Role
The Director of Operations leads and oversees all manufacturing and operations activities at the Maola Local Dairies™ Philadelphia plant. This role is critical for ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality operations while driving continuous improvement and operational excellence across the facility.
You will provide strong leadership in team development, lean manufacturing, and performance management. Working closely with the EVP and senior leadership, you will evaluate operational performance and make strategic recommendations related to efficiency improvements, capital investments, workforce development, and facility enhancements. Your day-to-day involves partnering cross-functionally with finance, sales, and marketing to resolve complex operational challenges, while championing innovation to enhance efficiency and quality. You will also lead union relations and collective bargaining activities, ensuring effective labor relations and contract compliance.

- check_circleOversee hiring, performance management, and workforce planning for operations and maintenance teams
- check_circleCoach and hold onsite leadership accountable for achieving customer, safety, and financial performance targets
- check_circleOversee development and execution of training programs to strengthen staff capability and compliance
- check_circleLead succession planning efforts to ensure leadership continuity and long-term operational capability
- check_circleProvide overall leadership and performance management for Plant Managers and Technical Services teams

Requirements
- verifiedBachelor's degree, MBA preferred
- verified10 years OR 15 years of plant management experience in dairy or food manufacturing
- verifiedStrong technical knowledge of UP/UHT and ESL filling operations
