Key Responsibilities
- check_circleProvide strategic leadership for the Water Resources discipline including watershed planning and flood mitigation
- check_circleLead business development by identifying opportunities, pursuing clients, and preparing proposals
- check_circleOversee delivery of high-quality projects ensuring strong QA/QC and on-time, on-budget performance
- check_circleMentor and grow a team of engineers and project managers to foster a high-performing culture
- check_circleManage discipline performance including staffing, utilization, backlog, profitability, and resource planning
- check_circleCoordinate with other service areas to support integrated project delivery and firmwide strategic initiatives
- check_circleOffer senior-level technical guidance on hydrologic and hydraulic modeling and FEMA-related work
Requirements
- verifiedBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field
- verifiedProfessional Engineer (PE) licensure
- verifiedTen years of professional engineering experience in water resources
- verifiedKnowledge of watershed-based planning, H&H modeling, and stormwater design
- verifiedExperience leading and managing engineering teams
- verifiedExperience in business development
- verifiedWorking knowledge of H&H modeling tools, GIS platforms, and design software
- verifiedKnowledge of state and federal agency requirements (USACE, NRCS, EPA, USGS, FEMA)
Nice to Have
Certifications applicable to civil engineering, hydrology and hydraulics (e.g., CPESC, CFM).
