The Director of Social Services ensures quality care and oversees the Clinical and Social Services functions of the shelter in accordance with DHS regulatory and accreditation requirements. This role is pivotal in implementing care and resources to meet the physical, emotional, and social needs of our clients. You will supervise the Intake Services and Case Management Teams, working closely with the Program Director to develop, implement, track, report, and evaluate measurable outcomes. The position involves managing the entire building in the absence of the Program Director, facilitating interdepartmental communication, and connecting with community leaders to build support networks. You will also liaise with medical staff, psychiatric providers, and DHS agencies to ensure appropriate service delivery and compliance with all organizational policies and legal regulations.
