About the Role

This Director-level position serves as a pivotal member of Sedgwick County's Administrative Strategy Team, operating with a broad scope and high visibility. The role is dedicated to directing quality management, regulatory compliance, and risk management within COMCARE. It focuses on identifying innovative technologies and strategies to solve complex organizational problems, ultimately ensuring superior clinical outcomes.

The Director will champion innovation to foster stronger partnerships, refine business practices, and advance evidence-based clinical approaches. A core aspect of the position involves overseeing organizational staff development and ensuring strict adherence to regulatory standards. Success in this role requires the ability to apply CCBHC practices and standard office policies to navigate complex administrative tasks, while quickly recognizing and responding to emergency or sensitive situations.

Critical decision-making skills are essential, as the Director must anticipate the consequences of their actions. The role demands regular, reliable attendance and the ability to cultivate collegial, harmonious working relationships across the organization. Additionally, the position requires the safe operation of a motor vehicle in accordance with Sedgwick County's Fleet Vehicle Operation and Usage policy.
