This position is based at The Resort at Pelican Hill in Newport Beach, California. As a key member of the Finance & Accounting team, you will manage the purchasing of supplies and products used at the location. You will formulate an approved vendor list encompassing all categories and ensure the purchasing and payment of items follow established procedures.
Your day will involve supervising the operations of the Purchasing Department, ensuring compliance with all brand-established systems, procedures, and applicable laws. You will create and maintain a Purchase Requisition/Purchase Order System, conduct inventories, and ensure accurate administration of all invoices. A significant part of your role involves leading by example, fostering open and collaborative relationships with your team, and ensuring staff are properly trained on procedures, sanitation, equipment handling, and chemical usage. You will also analyze information to solve problems and provide direction to other organizational units regarding accounting and budgeting policies.
