Grameen America Inc. (GAI) is a nonprofit microfinance organization founded in 2008 by Nobel Peace Prize recipient Mohammad Yunus. Our mission is to help less fortunate women of color become entrepreneurs and achieve financial independence through micro-loans, financial education, and asset-building strategies like savings and credit building.
We are seeking a Director of Partnerships to identify, build, and manage new relationships alongside our existing community and programmatic partners. This role is critical to growing our member base and enhancing our group-lending model. You will serve as a bridge between local Branch teams and our National and Field Operations, collaborating to create strategic alliances that drive our core operating strategies of recruitment, retention, renewals, and returns.
A primary focus of this position will be managing the pre-launch of the Elevate Black Women Entrepreneurs (EBWE) initiative. You will test the feasibility of our partner model to inform recruitment strategies and ensure the program effectively meets the needs of this specific community. From Newark, NJ to Harlem, NY, and eventually expanding to three cities, you will drive the E3-Branch Network Model to support member recruitment and programmatic services.
Candidates selected for this role will be expected to coordinate and lead partnerships related to financial implications while closely tracking program outputs and membership impact. The role requires managing all reporting and analytics against key metrics to ensure alignment of mutual goals.
Grameen America is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We consider all candidates for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, veteran status, or any other basis protected by applicable federal, state, or local law.
We are committed to the safety and health of our community and will adhere to all state and/or city COVID-19 vaccine mandate requirements.
