This entry-level sales position is designed to support our DIY business and drive sales and service objectives. As a Salesperson, you will serve as the bridge between our customers and our inventory, leveraging knowledge of store systems, basic automotive parts, and maintenance processes. You will be responsible for sourcing parts from stores, hubs, and external suppliers while maintaining an in-depth understanding of our inventory and operational workflows.
The role offers flexibility, allowing for both part-time and full-time schedules. While fleet safety certification is preferred, the core of the position lies in delivering an excellent selling experience for DIY customers through both in-store visits and phone interactions. You will not only achieve personal sales goals but also contribute to the store's overall success by providing essential DIY services such as battery installation, testing, and wiper installs.
Beyond sales and service, you will play a vital role in maintaining store standards. This includes managing inventory processes like truck put-aways, cycle counts, and backstock, as well as ensuring store cleanliness and safely delivering parts to customers when needed. Success in this role requires a blend of technical aptitude, physical stamina, and a friendly, communicative approach to building strong relationships with customers and peers.
