About the Role
We are seeking a Director of Operations to oversee our multi-site package delivery network. Based in Bessemer, Alabama, this pivotal role supports our terminals in both Bessemer and Kokomo, Indiana. You will serve as the main point of contact for leadership and the team regarding scheduling, routing, and compliance.
In this position, you will not only manage the strategic side of operations but also engage directly with the fleet. You must be physically willing, ready, and able to drive a P-1000+ sized vehicle (Large Step Van) to safely deliver packages to residential and commercial recipients. Your day-to-day will involve ensuring all daily pickup and delivery (P&D) routes are fully staffed, trucks are operational, and routes are generating sufficient revenue.

We also highly value previous experience with FedEx, though experience with UPS, Amazon, or other logistics providers is considered a plus. Successful candidates must be willing to submit to a background check, pass a drug test, and complete a DOT physical (all costs covered by FedEx).
