Michigan Farm Bureau and its Affiliated Companies (MFBAC) are dedicated to serving the agricultural community. This role is based at the Farm Bureau Center in Lansing, Michigan, and is integral to maintaining a workforce that reflects the organization's mission to support and attract top talent across all levels.

About the Role

The Director of Human Resources serves as a strategic partner in developing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive HR programs and policies. The position exists to ensure the organization retains and attracts top personnel while administering a complete compensation package that fosters employee confidence and meets all legal requirements.

In this capacity, you will oversee the management of the Payroll Services Department and direct a robust recruiting program designed to bring high-quality candidates into the organization. A key focus of the role is developing and maintaining a training function that aligns with company needs, alongside activities designed to promote and sustain a high level of employee morale.

Requirements

Nice to Have

Master's degree. Previous experience with payroll and training and development. Familiarity and understanding in agriculture and insurance.
