The Director of Enterprise Applications and Application Development serves as the strategic and operational leader for the Louisiana Community and Technical College (LCTC) System. This role is pivotal in aligning enterprise applications and development efforts with the broader institutional goals of the LCTC and its member colleges. The Director ensures that the technology ecosystem supporting students, faculty, staff, and administration is effective, reliable, secure, and scalable.
Beyond technical oversight, this position is deeply focused on people and culture. The Director leads and develops a team of technical and functional professionals, driving performance excellence through coaching, feedback, and ongoing development. By championing best-in-class support and orchestrating the continuous improvement of enterprise platforms, the Director enhances the overall customer experience for the entire college community.
This position resides within the Operations department under the Information Technology sub-department of the LCTC System. The team is dedicated to fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation. Master's degree from an accredited institution. Experience within a multi-institution (Multi-Entity Processing) higher education system. Experience leading data warehousing and business intelligence initiatives. Experience leading the migration to a SaaS ERP environment. Knowledge of enterprise architecture, cloud platforms, and modern application frameworks.
