Director of Employee Growth and Development

About the Role

This position serves as a strategic partner to executive leadership, driving organizational effectiveness through a holistic approach to leadership development, culture, and learning. As a Chief Culture Officer in spirit, you will champion the organization's values, ensuring alignment between behaviors, goals, and the well-being of both employees and residents.

You will be the architect of the Manager Growth & Development Program and the Academy for Career Excellence (ACE), designing innovative training solutions that utilize adult learning principles. Your day-to-day involves facilitating high-impact leadership retreats, offsites, and the annual Leadership Summit, while also delivering hands-on training through workshops, book studies, and Lunch & Learns.

Beyond internal development, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the resident experience. By supporting Life Enrichment initiatives and specialized service programs—such as Dementia Training (Teepa Snow's Positive Approach to Care®), the Eden Alternative®, and the Green House Project®—you will ensure that customer service excellence permeates every level of the organization.

You will work in a professional office and senior living community environment, requiring the discretion, tact, and courtesy necessary to navigate interactions with residents, employees, and the general public.

The position requires flexibility to work evenings or weekends for training sessions and retreats, as well as the ability to travel between organizational locations.
