KenCrest is dedicated to empowering individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live full, independent, and meaningful lives. As a strategic partner in the community, we rely on the generosity of institutional philanthropists to sustain and expand our life-changing programs.
The Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations serves as the strategic architect of our institutional philanthropy. This role exists to bridge the gap between KenCrest's mission and the resources needed to achieve it. You will not only identify and secure funding but also cultivate deep, lasting partnerships with corporate and private foundation funders.
In this position, you will act as a proactive relationship builder and grants strategist. Your day-to-day involves translating organizational priorities into compelling, fundable opportunities by collaborating across programs, finance, evaluation, and senior leadership. You will lead the full lifecycle of institutional giving—from prospect identification and cultivation to solicitation and stewardship—ensuring that every interaction reinforces KenCrest's impact.
Candidates selected for this role will engage in a multi-stage interview process designed to assess strategic fit and leadership capabilities. The process typically includes an initial screening, a deep-dive discussion on fundraising strategy, and a final meeting with senior leadership to explore cultural alignment and vision.
KenCrest is an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees and the individuals we serve. We consider qualified applicants regardless of background, race, religion, gender, or other protected characteristics.
