As a key member of the leadership team at Circle of Life, you will partner directly with the CEO to ensure our organization and staff operate in full compliance with federal and state regulations. This role is critical to maintaining our mission of excellence in hospice care, serving as the bridge between regulatory standards and daily operations.
You will drive a culture of continuous improvement by identifying strengths and weaknesses within our hospice program. Working collaboratively across all departments, you will monitor high-volume and high-risk areas, utilizing data-driven quality improvement models like PDSA to enhance the quality of care and services we provide.
Your work will be a dynamic mix of strategic oversight and hands-on execution. You will chair the QAPI and Compliance Committee, recommending performance improvement plans based on rigorous data collection and audit findings. A significant portion of your time will be dedicated to managing the organization's relationship with regulatory bodies, including ensuring timely responses to CMS contractor audits and overseeing the survey and accreditation process for CMS certification.
You will also play a pivotal role in our technology and documentation infrastructure. By collaborating with our EMR vendor and internal leads, you will ensure that our electronic medical records functionality and workflows adhere to the highest regulatory and quality standards. Additionally, you will oversee physician credentialing and privileging, manage contract compliance, and lead staff education initiatives on Compliance, QAPI, and HIPAA.
Candidates selected for an interview will engage in a comprehensive process designed to assess both technical expertise and cultural fit. This includes a review of your professional background, followed by discussions with leadership to explore your approach to regulatory compliance and quality improvement. The final stage involves a presentation or scenario-based discussion to demonstrate your problem-solving capabilities in a healthcare setting.
Circle of Life is an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees. We consider qualified applicants regardless of background, race, gender, age, or disability status.
