About the Role
We are partnering with multiple inpatient healthcare organizations to recruit Chief Nursing Officers (CNOs) for high-impact executive leadership roles. These positions report directly to the Chief Executive Officer and sit on the executive leadership team. The role is responsible for nursing strategy, clinical quality, staffing, and operational excellence.
These opportunities are ideal for experienced nurse leaders seeking visibility and influence, with the ability to drive meaningful change in growing or transitioning hospital environments. You will lead and develop nursing leadership teams, oversee clinical departments, and partner closely with the CEO on organizational strategy and culture. The role offers a platform to shape culture, quality, and patient outcomes while managing nursing budgets, FTEs, and performance management.

Key Responsibilities

- check_circleLead and develop nursing leadership teams including Nurse Managers and department leaders

- check_circleManage nursing budgets, FTEs, policies, procedures, and performance management
- check_circleDrive quality initiatives and ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards
- check_circleOversee clinical departments such as Nursing Services, Infection Prevention, and Respiratory Therapy
Requirements
- verifiedCurrent, unrestricted RN license in applicable state
- verifiedBLS certification required
- verifiedCRRN certification required or ability to obtain within one year
- verifiedBachelor's degree in Nursing or related field
- verifiedMinimum 5 years of inpatient hospital nursing experience
- verifiedMinimum 2 years of recent nursing management experience
Nice to Have
ACLS certification, advanced degree in Nursing or related field (preferred or in progress)
