About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team and deliver evidence-based care. In this role, you will be the cornerstone of patient well-being, assessing, planning, and evaluating individualized care plans while collaborating closely with an interdisciplinary team of physicians, therapists, and colleagues. Your day will involve administering treatments, monitoring patient status, and providing essential education to patients and their families. Beyond clinical duties, you will uphold the highest safety and quality standards, maintain accurate documentation in our EMR, and actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the patient experience.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleAssess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for assigned patients
- check_circleAdminister medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and protocols
- check_circleMonitor patient status, interpret clinical data, and respond promptly to changes in condition
- check_circleCollaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care
- check_circleProvide patient and family education on diagnoses, treatments, medications, and discharge plans
- check_circleMaintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)
- check_circleAdhere to infection prevention, safety, and quality standards including regulatory and hospital policies
- check_circleParticipate in care conferences, handoffs, and interdisciplinary rounds to ensure continuity of care
- check_circleSupport orientation and mentoring of new staff and nursing students as needed
- check_circleEngage in ongoing professional development and quality improvement initiatives
Requirements
- verifiedActive, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas
- verifiedBasic Life Support (BLS) certification
- verifiedGraduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN strongly preferred)
- verifiedAdvanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred
- verifiedSpecialty certification (e.g., CCRN, PCCN, CMSRN) preferred
Nice to Have
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification. Specialty certification (e.g., CCRN, PCCN, CMSRN). Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.
