The Director of Project Compliance and Controls is a key leadership role within the Global Engineering organization, with a dotted line to the Capital Finance Organization. This position is responsible for advancing compliance, governance, controls, and audit readiness across Amgen's global capital portfolio.
In this role, you will partner closely with Engineering, Finance, Global Sourcing, Legal, Quality, and external partners to ensure consistent project execution, effective risk management, and continuous improvement. You will serve as a subject matter expert for engineering compliance and controls, leading day-to-day execution and coordination of engineering-related audits and inspection readiness activities. The role involves developing and implementing performance metrics, dashboards, and reporting mechanisms to improve compliance across the capital portfolio, while also driving the continuous improvement of Engineering Project Delivery (EPD) processes and governance frameworks.
This position requires maintaining strong engagement across Amgen manufacturing and engineering sites globally, with approximately 30% travel. The role is located within driving distance from the Amgen Thousand Oaks site.
