We are dedicated to fostering community growth and revitalization through strategic, collaborative efforts.

About the Role

The Director of Community Development is a strategic, community-focused leader who will report directly to the CEO. This role exists to lead the strategy, growth, and execution of community development initiatives that directly improve neighborhoods and communities throughout the region. You will serve as a thought partner to the CEO, helping to drive organizational strategy and ensure measurable community impact.

In this position, you will partner with community leaders, municipalities, nonprofits, and residents to lead neighborhood revitalization efforts. You will oversee programs, projects, budgets, grants, and funding sources while managing a dedicated team of community development professionals and AmeriCorps members. The role requires supporting community engagement, outreach, and organizational visibility, with some travel and occasional evening or weekend events required.
