About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic, revenue-driven Director of Catering & Event Sales to lead all catering and event revenue for our San Jose location. This high-visibility role is designed for a strategic, relationship-oriented sales leader who thrives on building partnerships and generating new business. You will own the full sales lifecycle, from prospecting and lead qualification to contracting and pre-event planning, with the ultimate goal of building a thriving catering business and expanding our market presence.
Success in this position is defined by strong revenue growth, a healthy pipeline, high conversion rates, and the expansion of recurring accounts. You will work standard hours with the flexibility to attend client meetings, tastings, and event support, including evenings and weekends when necessary. This role offers significant impact on the long-term success of Poppy & Claro, requiring you to partner closely with the General Manager and operations team to ensure a seamless handoff from sales to execution.
