The Director of Career Development and Employer Engagement provides proactive leadership for the Office of Career Readiness, advancing the University's commitment to helping students build the skills, experiences, and confidence necessary for their future careers. Reporting to the Senior Director of the Student Success Center, this role is pivotal in shaping the student experience from their first year through graduation.
In this position, you will lead innovative career readiness initiatives and serve as the primary architect for strategic partnerships with employers and the community. Your day-to-day involves overseeing the daily operations of the Office of Career Readiness, managing staff, and driving program development that strengthens student engagement and post-graduate outcomes. You will work collaboratively across campus to embed career competencies into academic offerings and champion equitable access for first-generation students, student-athletes, and participants in the ASCEND program. This role is ideal for a leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about transforming student potential into professional achievement.
