About the Role
We are seeking a strategic, highly technical Director of Business Systems to serve as the "Air Traffic Controller" for our end-to-end commerce architecture. In this role, you will act as a peer to our Director of IT, taking ownership of the connective tissue between our core systems, including Shopify, NetSuite, RF-Smart, and WFX PLM.
As a high-growth omnichannel retail brand, we value lean, agile operations over bloated internal development. Your mandate is to leverage best-in-class SaaS platforms, build robust iPaaS middleware, and ensure our interconnected systems scale flawlessly without unnecessary headcount. You will drive the strategic unwinding of legacy dependencies and modernize our Order Management System (OMS) capabilities to support aggressive retail store expansion, complex inventory logic, and omnichannel fulfillment workflows.

Requirements
- verified5+ years of progressive experience in Retail Technology, E-commerce Operations, or Business Systems Architecture

- verifiedStrong understanding of retail accounting, inventory valuation, and how commerce data impacts the general ledger

Nice to Have
Experience in apparel, jewelry/accessories, or high-growth omnichannel retail. Previous experience migrating or heavily optimizing an OMS / distributed order management framework.
