This position serves as the senior authority for network engineering decisions and design quality, with accountability for architecture standards, design review, capacity planning, change governance, root cause analysis, and overall network performance outcomes. The role is pivotal in ensuring networks are designed for reliability, scalability, serviceability, and long-term operational success.
You will partner closely with operations, deployment, construction, support, product, and executive leadership to drive the company's network architecture strategy specifically for multifamily environments. Your leadership will ensure solutions are scalable, supportable, resilient, and perfectly aligned with business goals. As a leader, you will define and enforce engineering standards for network hardware, firmware, configuration baselines, and performance requirements, while establishing governance for Wi-Fi and RF standards to guarantee appropriate coverage and user experience across diverse property types.
In this capacity, you will direct RF design for Wi-Fi deployments, review and approve network designs and engineering deliverables prior to deployment, and ensure final as-built drawings are accurate and aligned with operational handoff requirements. You will also lead capacity planning efforts, drive root cause analysis for major incidents, and serve as the final escalation point for complex engineering decisions affecting production environments.
This role is open to remote candidates; however, candidates local to the Richardson, TX area are expected to work in a hybrid model two days per week.
