As Director of Financial Planning and Analysis, you will lead Catapult's global FP&A team, serving as the strategic backbone of our SaaS business. This role exists to transform raw financial data into critical insights that drive data-driven decision-making across the organization. You will be the person who knows the company's numbers better than anyone else, eagerly seeking new stories within the figures to communicate to stakeholders.
Your mission is to position Catapult as a well-oiled, efficient enterprise by identifying and implementing improvements across finance operations. You will operate with a high degree of autonomy, partnering with the executive team to provide predictive analytics and high-value recommendations that support our customers and the athletes we serve.
You will spend your time bridging the gap between complex financial data and strategic business action. This involves leading annual operating plans and multi-year strategic financial planning while overseeing monthly forecasting processes. You will analyze financial performance metrics to monitor the health of the business and support M&A activities through valuation modeling and due diligence.
A significant portion of your day will be dedicated to stakeholder partnership. You will collaborate with Commercial, G&A, and R&D functions to ensure consistent and cohesive financial decision-making. You will also focus on building a strong "brand" for the Finance team within the organization, enhancing financial reporting visibility and fostering cross-functional collaboration.
Beyond the numbers, you will build and mentor a high-performing 3-person team located in Boston, driving alignment with Catapult's strategic goals and fostering a collaborative culture with clear career paths.
Whether you're interested in sports or not, you'll have the satisfaction of knowing your work is supporting some of the most successful teams and athletes on the planet. We are building the future of sports performance, and our priority is to find the brightest talent that can add to our team culture.
We believe in diverse perspectives. Research shows that while men apply for jobs when they meet an average of 60% of the criteria, women and other marginalized groups tend to only apply when they check every box. If you think you have what it takes but don't meet every single point in our job ad, please still get in touch! We would love to have a chat and see if you could be a great addition to our team.
All offers of employment are subject to Catapult's positive prehire check. To find out more, please contact the Talent Partner for this role.
