About the Role

As the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis, you will lead the company's planning, forecasting, performance analysis, and management reporting activities across our complex government contractor services business. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will serve as a key finance partner to executive and operating leadership, translating operating performance into actionable financial insight, stronger forecasting discipline, and better decision-making.

This role is critical for modernizing our planning function. You will drive disciplined processes, improve data visibility, and champion the practical adoption of agentic AI and automation tools to streamline recurring analysis and narrative reporting. You will partner closely with business leaders to build credible forecasts for revenue, gross margin, EBITDA, and cash flow, ensuring alignment with operating priorities and financial objectives.

The Day-to-Day

Your work will bridge the gap between complex financial data and strategic execution. You will lead the annual operating plan, quarterly reforecasts, and rolling forecast processes, developing robust financial models to support scenario analysis and long-range planning. A significant portion of your time will be dedicated to preparing management reporting packages, including KPI dashboards and variance analysis, to guide executive leadership.

You will act as a specialized partner in the government contracting space, maintaining a working understanding of FAR, CAS, and DFARS as they affect budgeting, forecasting, and indirect rates. By collaborating with accounting, program finance, pricing, and compliance teams, you will ensure our forecasts accurately reflect contract mix, cost structures, and regulatory considerations. Additionally, you will lead, mentor, and develop a team of three direct reports, fostering a culture of high accountability and analytical rigor.

Hiring Process

Candidates selected for this role must be able to obtain a Secret or Top Secret security clearance based on organizational needs. The interview process will evaluate your technical expertise in government contracting finance, your strategic vision for modernizing FP&A functions, and your ability to influence senior leadership.
