About the Team

Guided by our purpose, core values, and leadership principles, we are creating an airline people love. Our corporate teams set the strategies and operational plans to ensure the success of our company. Whether we use our expertise in accounting, human resources, finance, planning, legal, marketing, or any of our operational divisions, our shared passion for travel and our guests is what motivates us to achieve excellence each day.

About the Role

The Director, Divisional Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) serves as the embedded CFO for the Maintenance and Engineering operating division. In this role, you will set the long-term financial strategy and oversee financial performance, working closely with division leadership to support operations while maintaining cost discipline.

You will act as a critical business partner, driving operating and capital expense discipline and delivering value-added analysis. Your day-to-day involves partnering with division leadership to execute strategy through integrated, divisionally-owned budget plans tied to key financial and operational metrics. You will lead the budgeting strategy, ensure timely and accurate monthly closing and forecasting, and dive deep into variances to identify root causes and drive structural fixes. Additionally, you will manage investments through the business case process, develop complex financial models, and stay abreast of industry trends to generate ideas that improve performance.

Beyond the numbers, you will shape the culture of the team through action and presence, fostering strategic thinking and developing talent across disciplines. You are expected to embody our values: own safety, do the right thing, be caring and kind, and deliver performance.

Hiring Process

We are committed to a fair and unbiased hiring process. All applicants are treated without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, or genetic information. We encourage you to apply if you share our passion for creating an airline people love.

Equal Opportunity & Regulatory Information

Alaska Airlines, Hawaiian Airlines, and Horizon Air are regulated by the Department of Transportation (DOT). As part of our commitment to safety, all applicants for this position will be subject to post-offer and/or pre-employment drug testing. Failure to submit to testing or positive indications of drug use will render the applicant ineligible for employment.

We are an Equal Employment Opportunity employer and comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws governing nondiscrimination in employment. We prohibit discrimination and harassment against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, genetic information, and other legally protected categories.
