As the Director of Nursing Education at St. Mary Medical Center, you will spearhead the development and implementation of clinical education programs. You will collaborate with the leadership team to plan and execute educational strategies that align with our Nursing Strategic Plan. Your practice will adhere to The Joint Commission standards, State and Federal regulatory criteria, and professional practice standards.
In this pivotal role, you will drive nursing excellence and foster collaboration with the academic community. You will bring our Professional Practice Model to life by enhancing patient care practices, including clinical pathways, policies, procedures, and standards. You will lead the dissemination of scientific findings that impact clinical outcomes and support evidence-based practices for continuous quality improvement. Additionally, you will oversee the Nursing Center of Excellence components, such as Shared Governance, Clinical Ladder, and Clinical Advancement Programs, to ensure top-tier care delivery.
