Lee Health is one of Florida's largest and most respected not-for-profit health systems, proudly ranked among the top 25% of hospitals nationwide. Our Rehabilitation Services team is one of the largest and most dynamic in the region, comprised of over 700 skilled professionals dedicated to helping patients regain strength, mobility, and independence. We work closely with medical teams across four acute care hospitals to create individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs.
Beyond core therapy services, our team offers a variety of specialty programs including neurological rehabilitation, vestibular and balance therapy, lymphedema management, pelvic health therapy, and oncology rehabilitation. We deliver exceptional, evidence-based care that restores function and enhances quality of life across acute care, skilled nursing, home health, and outpatient settings.
Our four Adult Acute Care Hospitals—Cape Coral Hospital, Gulf Coast Medical Center, Healthpark Medical Center, and Lee Memorial Hospital—provide diverse clinical environments ranging from high-acuity trauma and stroke centers to comprehensive medical-surgical populations. Each location fosters a strong mentorship culture, opportunities for student supervision, and engagement in system-developed continuing education initiatives.
As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will join a supportive, team-oriented environment where you can truly make a difference. You will be responsible for providing screening, evaluation, treatment, and education for patients demonstrating impairments of speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, fluency, and/or swallowing. Your work will adhere to all American Speech-Language Pathology (ASHA) professional standards, engaging in administration, consultation, education, and research.
Success in this role requires critical thinking, effective communication, problem-solving, and a commitment to learning. You will work within a collaborative setting that encourages work-life balance and clinical excellence, ensuring timely intervention for complex populations including stroke, ICU, and post-operative surgical patients. At Lee Health, we care for you so that you can care for others, offering flexible scheduling options to meet your needs.
