About the Role
This Director, Business Development - Advertising Partnerships position is based in New York City and operates on a hybrid model, working in-office three days per week with remote flexibility. The role is designed to accelerate revenue growth for DIRECTV Advertising by leading the structuring, negotiation, and execution of commercial agreements across content negotiations, device/OEM partnerships, and Programmer Services monetization.
Embedded within the Programmer carriage and distribution teams, you will serve as the primary Ad Sales stakeholder. Your mission is to ensure DIRECTV's ad inventory is not only preserved but expanded through strategic deal terms, governance, and ongoing partner execution. A significant focus of this role involves driving partner growth strategy, including pricing and commercial governance, to expand the adoption of DIRECTV's ad products, technology services, and data solutions. This includes leveraging DIRECTV Axis, the company's Emmy award-winning proprietary ad tech platform, and the DIRECTV Advantage suite to unlock incremental advertising and data revenues.
