About the Role
In FTI Consulting’s Corporate Finance & Restructuring organization, we focus on our clients’ strategic, operational, financial, and capital needs by addressing the full spectrum of financial and transactional opportunities faced by corporations, boards, private equity sponsors, creditor constituencies, and other stakeholders.
Within the Corporate Finance & Restructuring segment, the Office of the CFO practice offers solutions to manage our client’s CFO inbox for a company and help maximize its performance to position them for success to meet today’s increasing opportunities. The Director will support the Accounting and Financial Reporting Solution of the Office of the CFO practice. This team partners with finance and accounting executives to advise on complex accounting issues, risk and regulatory challenges, and accounting productivity. We support companies to improve the productivity and efficiency of people and processes to resolve critical gaps in close processes and financial reporting.

- check_circleCoach, train, and mentor junior staff on client engagements and technical accounting matters
- check_circlePerform interim accounting functions for clients including acting as Controller or technical accounting manager
Requirements
- verifiedBachelors or Masters degree in Accounting, Finance, or related program
- verified5+ years of relevant post-graduate experience
- verifiedCertified Public Accountant (CPA)
- verified3+ years of experience in an accounting function in public or private sector
- verifiedAbility to travel to clients and FTI office(s) as needed
