If making a positive impact in the lives of others is a constant on your to-do list, you'll love working with a team that puts people first. By joining Mosaic, you become part of a global mission advocating for people with complex needs and providing opportunities for them to enjoy a full life.
As a Direct Support Supervisor, you will coordinate and manage program operations to ensure regulatory compliance while serving as a leader and coach for your team. You will be a trusted ally whose sound judgment inspires confidence, helping staff and the individuals they serve move toward their goals. In this role, you will naturally draw people together, remaining calm and focused even in emotionally charged situations.
Your day-to-day involves facilitating the integration of individuals into the community by accompanying them to recreational and social activities. You will monitor the comfort and safety of individuals, ensuring living environments and program activities meet safety and regulatory requirements. When aggressive or inappropriate behavior occurs, you will intervene to implement behavior plans and strategies. Additionally, you will provide on-call support to staff during emergencies and locate staff to fill shifts when necessary.
At Mosaic, we believe in creating a workplace where everyone has the chance to contribute and succeed. This commitment is not just a policy; it's the way we work. It is good for the workforce, good for Mosaic, and the right thing to do. We are looking for a skilled planner who is adept at finding the best route forward while encouraging others to keep their eyes on the positive.
The schedule generally includes Monday through Friday, with some nights, weekends, and on-call responsibilities. Flexibility is required to meet the needs of the team and the individuals served.
